Craftsmen at Sea

Responsibility

Responsibility Means Taking Ownership Every Step of the Way

  • Safety First – Always
We operate in demanding environments where safety is not an option, but non-negotiable. That’s why we prioritize continuous training, procedures, and technology that protect our crew, partners, and the environment we work in.
  • Sustainable Operations at Sea
Our vessels are built with a focus on fuel efficiency, environmental impact, and long service life. We continuously work to reduce our CO₂ footprint and integrate green solutions into both operations and decision-making.
  • Local Engagement and Collaboration
We believe in the value of strong relationships – with customers, suppliers, and local communities. When operating offshore, we ensure that our solutions create local value and support responsible development.
  • Quality and Integrity
Responsibility also means delivering quality work – every time. We work systematically with quality management and set high standards for ourselves and our partners.
  • A Safe and Supportive Work Environment
Our employees are our most important resource. We invest in their well-being, development, and safety – both onshore and offshore.

A Safe, Healthy, and Supportive Work Environment

At Northern Survey, we firmly believe that well-being and health go hand in hand with safety and performance. That’s why we invest in a work environment where employees feel safe – both physically and mentally – whether they are onshore or at sea.

When you’re on board, there must still be room for a healthy lifestyle. Our vessels are equipped with proper facilities for exercise and training, and we prioritize healthy and varied meals on board. It is important to us that our crew has the opportunity to take care of themselves – even during long deployments. At the same time, we continuously work to strengthen community, well-being, and personal development, so that as a team we become stronger, more resilient, and ready for the challenges that working at sea entails.

Quality and Integrity in Everything We Do

At Northern Survey, we believe that responsibility begins with quality – and quality begins with integrity. We strive to deliver precise, reliable, and fully documented solutions every time we take on a task.

We work systematically with quality management and have documented our efforts through certifications in ISO 9001 (quality management), ISO 14001 (environmental management), and ISO 45001 (occupational health and safety). This means that we not only comply with applicable standards – we actively work to improve our processes, reduce environmental impact, and ensure a safe working environment for everyone both at sea and onshore.

Our certifications are not a goal in themselves but proof of the integrity and structure we apply to our work – from the first customer interaction to the final report.
